Lugwigshafen, 10 MW boiler – combination silencer

Design:

Cavity resonator pipe silencer as static bracing element. The silencer was also created as a chimney at the same time. A broad-spectrum (20-800Hz) silencer concept without additional pressure loss. The emphasis of the silencer was the frequency range (100-160 Hz, insertion loss > 30 dB).

Medium: Exhaust air of a 100 MW boiler (operating temperature 180°C)
