Ibiza – Cavity resonators

Design:

Retrofitting cavity resonator pipe silencer in a motor-driven co-generation plant in Ibiza. Despite the elimination of the 37 Hz background noise (Damping ca. 30 dB at 37 Hz), there is no extra pressure loss.

Unit: 2 x 18 MW engine (ca. 380°C)
